
Emily Harper Ellis is a writer from Western North Carolina. Her reporting can be found in multiple Southern Arizona newspapers and has won several Arizona Press Club Awards. Her short fiction appears or is forthcoming in EPOCH, The Mississippi Review, The Greensboro Review and Gulf Stream Magazine. She was a finalist for The Hudson Prize from Black Lawrence Press, received the Robert Watson Literary Prize for Fiction, and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She holds an MA in Journalism from the University of Arizona and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Tennessee.
